Saturday Morning Children's Sewing Club - Toy Organisers - £12.50

In today's session each child will make two fabric storage baskets, both different sizes to put all their toys in. A great project to learn which should also keep their bedroom tidy!

Suitable for children age 7+ with some sewing machine experience.

Saturday Morning Children's Sewing Club - Door Stop - £12.50

Today we will be making a cube door stop. Each child will learn how to create a 3D shape, add an applique design using fabric scraps and trims before stuffing their doorstop with toy stuffing and dried peas/rice to weigh it down.

In today's session each child will make this lovely lightweight garment, ideal to wear over a vest top during the summer months. They will learn how to hem sleeves, add trims and finish edges to a professional standard. One size pattern is suitable for girls age 7-12 years old.

In today's session we will be making a cute skirt with zip, great for wearing on its own or over leggings. Each child will add a waistband, insert a zip and hem their skirt.

Christmas Wreath - £30

Decorate your house with this beautiful patchwork Christmas wreath.

You will learn the basic techniques of patchwork using 4 co-ordinating Christmas fabrics:

-          How to use a rotary cutter

-          Sew in a straight line

-          Press seams

-          Match seams

Once the 8 sections are sewn together you will do the same for the back panel before filling with toy stuffing and finishing with a bow.

This workshop is suitable for people with some sewing machine experience.

Please provide 4 christmas fat quarters.

As Easter is round the corner, in today's session we will be making Easter bunny baskets filled with lots of delicious chocolates. Each basket will be decorated to look like a bunny, adding a face and pom pom tail. We should have time to make two, one for you and one for a friend or sibling.

Saturday Morning Children's Sewing Club - Quilted Bag - £12.50

Each child will make their own quilted party bag with metal clasp. They will learn how to quilt a design onto fabric and wadding before sewing their bag together. To make the bag extra special it will be finished off with a glue in metal clasp.
